the dictionary defines high school as
high school
–nouna school attended after elementary school or junior high school and usually consisting of grades 9 or 10 through 12.
but do you really think that a dictionary would be able to give people the true meaning of high school? would it be possible for a dictionary to show us the hardships and fufillments of what high school is? Throughout the years, we learn things that cant be found within the textbooks. I guess to really understand the meaning of highschool you're just gonna have to go through it yourself. Highschool is a journey to discovering who you really are, it unveils the person you are inside by throwing you curveballs.

high school is a big part of life, we learn our mistakes there, we meet our loves but most importantly an experience, mind blowing adventure and full of crappy drama as well but it makes us who we are nownadz says:

sexAnd to me? highschool means; Memories, regardless of the shit we're all going/gone through. This is one of lifes experiences; one we cant take for granted but yet so many of us do. Highschool is a place where we can go to learn and to socialize with friends and release ourselves during adolescence, create memories that will last a lifetime, do incredibly stupid acts out of pure bordem and look back at it to laugh and reminisce.
Yeah sure i know you're thinking "oh but theres college/university". But when you're enrolled in those institutes do you believe we'll be able to laugh our asses off cause the teacher has a kick me sign stuck to his blazer or pass notes about the cute transfer student from italy? Its the little things like this is that makes highschool, highschool, without the drama and the stereotypes highschool would be pretty dull... And like everything else, it will come to an end.
Graduation is defined as
1.an act of graduating; the state of being graduated.
2.the ceremony of conferring degrees or diplomas, as at a college or school.
3.arrangement in degrees, levels, or ranks.
i remember back in twothousandfour; we would always talk about the future and how graduation seemed light years away, come the yr twothousandseven graduation is within hands reach. Its frightening to know how fast time has past. I stand here today reflecting back on those endless days of immaturity and acts of stupidity, as anyone else would. i miss them So, there is approximately 68 days til graduation and yes i admit. im scared as hell!
Reason: leaving highschool means you cant hide yourself behind those highschool walls anymore, a step further towards adulthood and most of all Reponsibilities. I remember when i was about 7 i was the most anxious little shit and kept wishing that id grow up already. 10 yrs later and here i am today, wishing i had the abilities of Peter Pan to stay young forever and never have to grow up. Growing up is never easy. You hold on to things that were. You wonder what's to come. But that night, I think we knew it was time to let go of what had been, and look ahead to what would be. Other days. New days. Days to come. The thing is, we didn't have to hate each other for getting older. We just had to forgive ourselves... for growing up
